This delicious Scottish Shortbread has been a tradition in our family for at least five generations; both sides of our family have their roots in Scotland, through the McLaren & Forbes Clans. This family recipe was Passed down from our great-great Gran who lived in Glasgow, Scotland. Each batch is hand-made, baked in clay trays and hand packaged.

Tim & I began baking for friends and family at the holidays and it proved so popular that we decided to offer McLaren’s for purchase as gifts for the Christmas and New Years Holidays. We continued to grow with requests for corporate gifting and now MacLaren’s products are available year round.

We are so pleased to be able to offer all our products for sale over the internet with custom gift packaging for Christmas - New Years – Valentines Day – Passover – Easter – Mothers Day – Father’s Day – Teas – Weddings – and any special occasion that you may have.

• The process of mass manufacturing diminishes the careful selection and preparation of fruits, spices & key ingredients. It also eliminates the soulful process and personal connection that comes from cooking each product by hand.
