Our shortbread cookies melt in your mouth. Made with only butter, sugar & flour, kneaded to a fine consistency and baked in clay trays, this shortbread is light, delicious and not too sweet,. There are no preservatives of any kind in our Shortbread and we recommend a shelf life of 14 days on your counter. McLaren's can be frozen and kept for 6 months and then thawed at room temperature when you are ready to serve it. McLaren's Original Scottish Shortbread is baked fresh and shipped Priority Mail to be sure it arrives to you as fresh as possible, but don't worry, it is so delicious that the box will be empty long before the 14 days pass! 1 1/2 pounds - approximately 32 pieces.
