This new twist on a traditional British favorite is a bright and tangy companion to traditional Lemon Curd. Described by my teenagers, as "A lime party in your mouth" Lime curd is refreshing and delicious. Served at tea, Lime Curd is a fruit spread that similar to the filling for Key Lime pie, but richer and more like a spread-able custard. Lime Curd is delicious on scones, shortbread, in crepes, trifle or Pavlova or on anything that you might put jam or custard on. All our curds are made with fresh California citrus from local growers. There are no fillers or thickeners used, Just the juice, zest, eggs, butter and sugar. No preservatives or additives of any kind are used and the resulting taste is bright, creamy and delicious. Our curds have a three-month shelf life and must be refrigerated after opening.
